Councilman Altamura is a dedicated public servant and committed volunteer. A Councilman since 2000 and elected twice to Borough Council, Ezio has been recognized by our local Wood-Ridge Memorial Post 3616 Veterans of Foreign Wars and their Ladies Auxiliary and presented their “2006 Outstanding Citizen Award”. Ezio’s leadership has been instrumental in improving the quality of life for Wood-Ridge residents by establishing the “Keep Wood-Ridge Beautiful” program, spearheading the Summer Concert series, Coaches background check, Valley Blvd. Streetscape, Adopt-A-Highway Program and the development of the borough official website. Ezio is also a former Shade Tree Commissioner, Merchants group leader and Co-Council participant in the establishment of the Veterans Walk of Freedom.
